So I got halfway through writing up the fall rotation for the royal family in my medieval neighborhood, and then decided I wanted to do something else- namely fiddle around with meshing, since I just got milkshape earlier today. And I cannot find a single tutorial for adding preg morphs to things, which is annoying because that's precisely what I want to do.

Bah. Screw it, I'll find something easier to make. Maybe I can add sexyfeet to stuff. That has to be easier, right?

ETA- HA I FOUND ONE. GOS has made my day yet again. I <3 that place.

That, of course, is a preg morph. I have added a preg morph to a mesh. I am very happy.

*grin* I think it's possible that only two or three people in the sims community know what everything in SimPE does. I am very certain that I may never be one of them, which may be a good thing because I imagine knowing that much leads to being expected to help everyone else learn...

Pregmorphs are awesome. In fact, I doubt I'd have considered learning to mesh if I hadn't had so many 'augh this needs a preg morph' moments, and I know I love finding meshes that have them, so I am very glad I've worked out how to add them to things.

Heh, or just plain being asked to do something for somebody. I kind of like the knowledge pool thing the Sims 2 community has going on, but sometimes I think it would be nice to have a big ol' "Don't Do This-- Here's Why" list somewhere, now that Sims 2 is complete and we know all the things that cause a Big Fiery Ball Visible From Space.

Or at least all the things in a vanilla game that cause or contribute to BFBVFS Syndrome.

I hope you develop an absolute passion for pregmorphs! Cos I love meshes with pregmorphs, too, but I also love a lot of the meshes I've collected that DON'T have them.

I do believe I have. Now if only I can get my game to load faster so I can finish testing the one I made so that I can get started on another.

Got a testerhood? Yoink all your custom content BUT what you're testing and just load what you need. Which is no real help if you're me and even your testerhood is full of custom content, but I never claimed to think ahead on this sort of thing.

It *is* my testing setup, with almost nothing in it but my own stuff [of which there is very little, at this stage, of course]- though the real issue is that I was dumb and had to restart the game, because I forgot to add Inteen when I put in the outfit I was intending to test, which is obviously an issue when testing a TF preg morph. (The other issue is that I'm running it in windowed mode because it closes down faster, but my laptop with 1GB of RAM does not like the idea of me testing meshes while on the internet at the same time. Sometimes I wonder if I'm crazy to be playing sims on a setup like that. Then I realize my laptop is the best computer in the house, and I stop worrying because I know what sims looks like on the desktop we have here, and it isn't any better.)

I will happily help you test things, if you want (although I need to go to BED cos I have stuff to do outside the house all day tomorrow. Today. One sleep from now)-- there's always somebody knocked up in my testerhood, because I let ACR run rampant.

I think I may take you up on that... once I finish fiddling with this one robe mesh for men that has managed to look ever so slightly off no matter what I do. (And then I need to tweak the TF mesh because the bottom of the belly isn't quite right... I am very much a perfectionist sometimes.)
